THE ZONE is a newly launched general entertainment channel dedicated to serving avid fans of Sci-fi, Cult, Horror and Fantasy.

After a competitive pitch, Brandspank were awarded the task of creating this new brand with the aim to represent the aspirations of the channel and resonate with an audience who, more than most, hold this category dear.

Fitting into a tight knit community of knowledgeable die-hards isn't easy – Brandspank’s response was to stay true to the fans, produce a brand that's anything but vanilla, and be known as a place of questioning. The concept of ‘new discoveries through questioning’, led to the creation of THE ZONE Doorway, an iconic graphic device that leads us throughout the brand to the content, the fans and the infinite beyond.

A bespoke, modified font was created to be used across the entirety of The Zone brand. The coded font allowed for the concept of questioning to be injected throughout titles, headlines and brand statements.
